Sari Jacket in Silk and Cotton
This padded jacket features a rich silk brocade as well as beading and quilting.
Versatile, the straight boxy shape can be adjusted with its fabric belt.
The sleeves are made from upcycled saris. Made from 100% silk brocade, they are handwoven in India with gold and silver thread, and dyed using natural pigments such as flowers and spices. The saris are cut one by one in our atelier to achieve a specific design placement on the sleeve, using the fabric’s borders and selvedges to create exclusive patterns.
The body is made in our Italian cotton twill.
The jacket is hand quilted to create unique patterns, while wooden beads are embroidered on the front and sleeves to create a 3D effect.

FABRICS & COLORS
Body: Italian Cotton Twill – Black. Soft and compact, light to medium weight, with a slight sheen and a little bit of stretch.
Sleeve: Silk Brocade (Upcycled Sari) – Gold Yellow.
*Irregularities are inherent to the artisanal process.
Lining: Kasha lining - Black. Kasha lining combines a smooth satin face with a soft flannel backing, providing additional warmth while maintaining a smooth interior finish.
The model is 174 cm (5’8’’) and wears size M.
