The Designer

Ysaline Lannes is the owner and designer behind 1ER MAI. After working in the fashion and garment industry for over ten years - as a designer, seamstress, stylist and costume-maker, she launched her own streetwear label 1ER MAI (French for May 1st) in 2021 out of a desire to create clothing that would both reflect her concern for the environment and her love of fine crafts.

In 2022, she receives the Honorary Award "Coup de coeur du président" at the mmode Gala. In 2024, she is a Finalist for Concours des Jeunes Designers de Mode Francophones (Competition for Francophone Fashion Designers, France) and François-Houdé Prize.
